Requirements
- DVM or VMD, State Veterinary Board, and DEA Registration
- 2+ years of experience as a companion animal veterinarian preferred (mentorship is available and new grads are encouraged to apply)
- Must be a leader, a critical thinker, a team player, and a confident veterinarian
- Must be a bright, friendly, and strong communicator in order to effectively communicate with clients, visitors, and hospital staff (it’s okay if you talk to the animals, too!)
- Must be able to work quickly on a computer
- Must have a pleasant presence on the phone and excellent phone etiquette
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and move freely for extended periods of time (90-minute breaks!)
- Must be able to work in a veterinary environment with exposure to infection or contagious diseases
